Presumptive president Bongbong Marcos wants free health insurance for 12 million senior citizens of the country, in addition to their pension.

Currently, some of the benefits senior citizens receive are the 20 pecent discount and VAT exemption on medicines, food fare and even doctors fees and hospital bills.

Marcos also frowned upon the practice of companies who discriminate against senior citizens by not employing them no matter willing and capable.
